Keep the kids entertained and stimulated this summer at Bilingual Education!

Eek! The summer holidays are getting closer and closer, mamas! So if you haven’t sorted out a summer programme for your little one yet, check out Summer Fun Globetrotters 2016 (and thank us later). With two other programmes on offer, there’s something for every child at Bilingual Education; a quality, innovative and motiving bilingual environment for toddlers and children, with professional native speaking educators.

A Monday-Friday programme (enrol for as many weeks as you’d like), Summer Fun Globetrotters is a 4-week world adventure! Here your child will explore the cultures, art, music and wildlife of the different continents; a great opportunity for them to learn about and develop an interest in the world’s diversity, expanding their global awareness and respect of other cultures.

Children will also discover what Hong Kong locally has to offer, including natural beauty and awesome architecture. Alongside the programme promoting language development, your child will also walk away with a new-found confidence in presentation and communication skills. If this sounds like the perfect programme for your child, enrol them in Summer Fun Globetrotters and get 10% off! (Offer expires Sunday, 31 July).

Or if you’d like your child to improve on their second language this summer, perhaps you’d like to enrol them in Bilingual Education’s M.E Programme? Encouraging learning in both English and Putonghua, students are encouraged to participate in two classes, one in each language. This not only reinforces knowledge learnt to create a stronger memory, it also allows your child to explore and become sensitive to the differences between each language, gaining a broader scope of knowledge.

Learning objectives of the M.E Programme are based on the four main components of language: listening, speaking, reading and writing. Students won’t be stuck behind their desks though, with a focus on language learning through interactive, theme-based play activities.

For children who are proficient in either English or Putonghua, the CX Programme is also on offer, designed to prepare students for their future studies, and to aid their school work. This focuses on developing the 12 C factors: Concentration, Creativity, Cooperation, Critical thinking, Communication, Confidence and Competitive, as well as Compassion, Cognitive development, Courage, Consistency and Curiosity. Instead of focusing on teaching language, the CX programme now focuses more on using language to learn more, so to expand your child’s horizons.

So whatever level they’re at, what better place for your child to develop their language skills and socio-cultural awareness this summer than at Bilingual Education? They’ll have a ball, too!
