Reading at Home with Phonics

Rachel Todd Consultancy announces new workshop series created to assist parents with child reading support from home. RTC has been providing Early Years teacher training consultancy services in reading and writing skills at some of Hong Kong’s most prestigious International schools since 2007, including Discovery Bay International School and Kellett School.

The Reading at Home with Phonics programme comprises two workshops of two hours, during which parents are guided through the principles of synthetic phonics, preparing children to become successful readers, using home phonic resources, sound-blending for reading, supporting spelling, advancing sound knowledge and useful tips to accelerate progress.
