Kids4Kids: Writing for a Cause Competition

LearnPost Category - LearnLearn

Looking for something for your kids to do over the summer holidays? If your kids enjoy writing stories and drawing pictures then why not enter them into the Kids4Kids: Writing for a Cause Competition?

Due to popular demand, this year sees the introduction of a new category especially for children aged 6-16 years. Kids are encouraged to let their imagination do the work and create a short story either in English (no more than 600 words), or in Chinese (no more than 800 characters), or alternatively the story can be bilingual. Stories must be illustrated, in a fixed format with one page of illustration and one matching page of text.

Winning stories will be edited and published in colourful bilingual English and Pinyin storybooks – exciting!

While keeping your kids amused and flexing their creative muscles, you’ll also be doing your bit for charity. To date, 33 Kids4Kids Books have been published, the sale of which has raised $500,000 – all donated to charitable causes for the benefit of children!

Online registration is now open, and for more information click here.

Online submission of stories begins on 1 September and ends on 30 September 2013 with registration costing just $100.

So what are you waiting for? Get their minds engaged and imagination running riot and register now!
