Style Your Sole at TOMS and Help a Child in Need

We love supporting charity-conscious companies at Sassy Mama, and since arriving on the scene nearly a decade ago, TOMS has held fast to its commitment of providing proper footwear for underprivileged kids in developing nations. We love their One for One programme to match each pair of shoes sold with a donated pair given to a child in need, and can’t think of a better reason to stock up on a few canvas pairs this summer!

Stop on by the TOMS ifc store on Friday, 10 July with a pair of TOMS shoes purchased from Friday, 3 July onwards (must show receipt) or buy a pair on the spot and get artsy with your friends at their “Style Your Sole” event, with celebrated artists CATH LOVE and AMT on hand to help mentor you toward creating your own unique set of customised canvases! Of course, each pair purchased will be matched through the One for One programme, so invite your friends and get ready to express your creativity for a cause.

Guests will also have a chance to experience TOMS brand new 3-D Virtual Giving Tour, a unique initiative by TOMS to show customers exactly where the other pair is going. Through virtual reality technology, customers will experience a 360-degree, 3-D film that gives them the chance to travel to Peru and connect with the kids on the other side of the One to One programme.

We know mamas will love the fun and interactive approach TOMS has taken to helping out for a cause, and the best part is at the end of the day you’ll be able to bring home your own pair of personalised canvases with the reassurance that somewhere in the world a child is enjoying the same pair of safe, comfortable footwear!
