New mum? No time to get to the gym with a little one in tow? Well, BabyFit Hong Kong is the perfect way to get back into shape and work-out, as you can bring baby along with you in a stroller! These relaxed classes kicked off in Sai Kung, and have been such a huge success that they’re now launching three times a week in Happy Valley, with new class schedules coming soon to Pokfulam and Southside. If your area isn’t currently covered, you can always get a group of mama friends together and BabyFit will send a trainer along to you!

So how does it work exactly?
Well, fitness newbies or those who took a serious break from the gym while preggers (like us!) don’t need to worry – all fitness levels are catered for. Typical classes consist of cardio, strength training, boxercise, core work and stretching. Just try and feed your baby or express if you’re breastfeeding before the class, and make sure to bring along some snacks or a drink for baby to keep them happy and comfortable while you work out. Older babies can be brought along too as long as they’ll sit in the stroller for the duration.

How much does it cost and how do I reserve?
Classes cost HK150 and you’ll need to email [email protected] in advance to reserve your place as class sizes are limited.

Where are the classes held?
The Happy Valley classes are held on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 8.15am, last one hour and are held in the Happy Valley inside race track by the conditioning area near the soft mat surface. Check out the BabyFit website for other class times in Sai Kung and for more FAQs!
