Callixto is as cool as its name sounds. The recently opened accessories store sells unique treasures from Turkey, India, Mexico, Peru, Bali, Uzbekistan and many more countries. Located right in Central, its hot pink, graffitied shop front is hard to miss. The half Austrian, half Chinese designer, Sasha Dennig, quit her corporate lawyer career and launched Callixto in 2011 after a trip to Rajasthan India where she was inspired by the jewellery, pashminas, block print textiles and other such wonders. Callixto is perfect if you’re looking for exotic accessories or buying gifts for friends and family, so be sure to check it out!
