Tokyolima’s new family-friendly brunch is one we think parents around the 852 will love! Its dedicated Kids Corner is chock full of everything a kid would want to keep them busy – drawing paper and crayons, a mini basketball hoop and loads of toys. But its Kid’s Brunch Menu is one we think is just fab! For just $128, children can pick from two main dishes including tuna sushi, slow cooked pork belly and coriander Chimichurri buns, as well as soba noodles tossed with seaweed tempura and sesame sauce. Parents will rejoice as well, because the four-course Omacasa Brunch ($398) sounds amazing and is made for sharing. Tuck into signature dishes such as Ki-mo-chi Fried Chicken or head to the Ceviche Bar for a selection of TokyoLima’s favourite ceviches. Free-flow added for $180 per person.

With no service charge, the Middle Eastern brunch at Francis just got even tastier! Every Saturday and Sunday from 12pm to 3pm the brunch ($280 per person) starts off with an array of mezze for the table (includes hummus, feta cigars, signature halloumi with molasses and a fresh salad of avocado, tomato, labneh and za’atar spice mix). You can then take your pick from the mains (shakshuka and kafta are some we love!) and if you’re feeling like a tipple, choose from its specially selected fresh orange wines, which are made to accompany a Mediterranean meal.

Although prices here are on the higher side for a family, (adults $408 and children $308 Saturday and Sunday), the “Summer in Japan” buffet here sounds like a seafood lover’s dream! The buffet begins with fresh seafood and oysters alongside a vast range of sushi and sashimi (scallops, yellowtail, sweet shrimps, surf clams, octopus and soft shell crab hand rolls, to name a few!). If those aren’t enough to satisfy you, there’s a live flame-seared Aburi sushi cooking station and Donburi rice bowls. But if you’ve got some meat eaters in your clan, they’ll get their pick as well from the Teppanyaki Wagyu beef and grilled chicken skewers, and everyone will love the dessert counter, featuring Japanese soufflé pancakes, white peach pudding, Sakura and strawberry roulade and matcha castella cakes with red bean. Now through 31 July.
