Father’s Day is always a bit of an enigma; the big, tough guy says he doesn’t like to be fussed over, but secretly you know he wants that extra indulgence and appreciation just for him! We’ve found some of the best deals to treat dad this year, so spoil the fantastic men in your life with a nice meal out (because dads love nothing more than a good – no, amazing – deal!). From hearty dishes to snazzy drinks, here’s our Father’s Day Dining Guide for 2018.

Families who treat dad to a fresh and delicious Vietnamese brunch at Moi Moi will also get a special deal, because with each paying adult, two children age 3 to 11 can eat for FREE! The Seafood Semi-Buffet Father’s Day Dinner kicks off with a selection of appetisers and salads and includes made-to-order Vietnamese spring rolls and rice ravioli as well as dessert. Seafood selections include prawns, scallops, mussels, as well as Prawn and Pork Rice Paper Rolls. Additional mains can be added including Vietnamese Grilled Fish with Steamed Rice (+$78) and Yellow Curry Whole Lobster with Garlic Bread (+$108).

Moi Moi is the newest venue to arrive in the Nexxus building, and its impressive decor is elegant yet rustic (we’re talking gorgeous red brick walls with wooden panels and ruby red tiles alongside jade upholstery). The interior is cosy enough for families who want a simple light meal but is also sophisticated enough for a special dinner out.

Sassy Mama PerkUpon arrival at the Seafood Semi Buffet Dinner, simply tell Moi Moi’s staff you are a Sassy Mama reader and choose between a complimentary fresh lime soda or a cool glass of beer.

Situated on Lyndhurst Terrace, Yakimon is a new Japanese grill restaurant that dads are sure to enjoy. The special menu here has so many mouth-watering mains to choose from we can’t decide which we would pick (we’re talking Roast Sirloin of Devonshire Beef, Baked Scottish Salmon, English Spring Pea with Asparagus Risotto and Roast Lamb Leg)! But, if your cheeky dad prefers a boozy brunch, he’ll love the two hours free flow house beer, wines, Bloody Mary or Pimm’s ($248), or the free-flow Chapel Down English Sparkling wine ($288), or the free-flow Billecart-Salmon Brut Reserve Champagne ($398).

Save room for the rum raisin ice cream on top of a fruit and nut chocolate soufflé! Yum!
