Chifa

If you fancy enjoying an al fresco drink or two, head to Chifa between 5pm and 7pm every day for its new Chilcano O’Clock Happy Hour. As the name suggests, it’s introduced Peru’s pisco-based Chilcano cocktail to the menu. You can choose to have it flavoured with jasmine, green tea, seasonal fruit or passion fruit. The drink will usually set you back $90, but during happy hour it’s just $48! Don’t worry if you’re not tempted by the cocktails, there’s also $48 wine, prosecco, spirits and beer. Team your beverages with some of the restaurant’s nibbles for $48 (including Impossible dim sum) and you’re all set!

Komune

We all like to escape the hustle and bustle of the city every so often, so why not retreat to Komune at Ovolo Southside and soak up the happy hour vibes on its terrace? Every Monday to Thursday between 5pm and 7pm, you can get free-flow BBQ ribs, fries, sangria and beer for just $118 per person. Now that’s what we call a good deal! If that sounds a bit much for you, you can order house spirits, bubbles and wine by the glass for $50 between 3pm and 7pm.

CÉ LA VI

If you’re looking for a classy venue in the LKF vicinity, it’s hard to overlook CÉ LA VI. From 3pm to 8pm on weekdays, the bar has a Seasonal Sundowner menu with two-for-one deals on selected wines, beers and spirits on its Sky Deck and in The Lounge. There are also three seasonal cocktails you can choose from as part of the promotion (priced at $148 each and available until the end of March). We like the sound of the “Sin City,” which is made with gin, crème de mûre, lemon juice, honey syrup and ginger beer. If gin isn’t your thing, try the “Cherry On Top” (consisting of rum, lime juice, sugar syrup and bitters).

Mr & Mrs Fox

If you find it hard to say no to a refreshing Aperol Spritz, you’ll love Mr & Mrs Fox’s new AperolChooseDay on a (you’ve guessed it!) Tuesday. The tipple is on offer for just $50 all day at this Quarry Bay venue. So whether you’re arranging a girls lunch, an afternoon catch up or an evening outing, it’s well worth putting this deal on your radar! It’s never too late (or early for that matter) for an Aperol Spritz, especially when the Hong Kong heat starts to sets in.

Old Bailey

If you’re looking for a Friday night drink in Central, you’ll want to check out Old Bailey’s “Book Club” event from 6pm to 9pm. It’s got all the ingredients for a great night out, including live acoustic music and a picturesque Tai Kwun setting. There’s a variety of 2-4-1 drinks deals on beer, wine and house spirits. Plus four different cocktails are also part of the promotional deal (including Negronis for $110 and a Frozen Lychee Spritz for $90), which will set you up nicely for the weekend.

Homeslice

If pizza and drinks sound like the perfect ingredients for a girls night, then it’s worth checking out Homeslice in Sai Ying Pun. You’ll be able to take your pick from one of its Neapolitan-style 12-inch pizzas. Meat eaters will love the Diavola ($160) with spicy salami, chilli and basil. While vegetarians are well catered for, with options including the Baby Leek ($160), which comes with chilli, taleggio, caramelised onion and rosemary. But now to the drinks, on weekdays between 5pm and 7pm, Red Stripe lager will set you back a mere $20, with house wine for $40 and pickle backs for $30. Arts Month Cocktails

It may not be a happy hour deal, but we have to mention the special art-inspired drinks being served up at several Ming Fat House venues. Mrs. Pound, Dr. Fern’s Gin Parlour and Foxglove will each feature two special Art Basel limited-edition cocktails on their menus until Sunday, 31 March. The “My Way” ($130) gets our vote at Mrs. Pound. It’s made with Tanqueray gin, homemade grapefruit jam, fresh grapefruit juice and lime juice. At Dr. Fern’s Gin Parlour, request “Flowers in the Snow” ($160), which is a mixture of marshmallow-infused gin, honey, cream, egg white, soda and local jasmine tea. While it’s the “Amazon Sour” ($140) that’s caught our eye at Foxglove, consisting of vodka, elderflower liquor, cardamom syrup, lemon juice and Thai basil.
