Tired of getting the little ones new clothes whenever the old ones wear and tear? In collaboration with Kay Wong’s Fashion Clinic, Tove & Libra is hosting a conscious consumer workshop this week to helps us rethink our approach to pre-loved garments. Apart from the ancient Japanese art of Sashiko (a textile mending technique), the workshop will also cover the traditional darning stitch technique as well as Boro patchwork. By the end of the class, you’ll be able to repair your clothes flawlessly. Since you’ll be getting some hands-on learning experience during the workshop, don’t forget to bring your own piece of clothing!
Time: 2pm to 4pm
