Looking for a fun yet educational event to enrol your kid to? Why not sign them up to volunteer for the Kid’s Ocean Day event?

After three successful years of hosting this beach day volunteer event, the Ocean Recovery Alliance is back again with their Kid’s Ocean Day! The aim of this event is to educate and raise awareness of ocean preservation in a fun and engaging way. Volunteers will work together to create ‘human art’ on the beach and the image used will be based on the winning artwork from the Ocean Protection Drawing Competition.

The 2015 event drew in over 900 students and teachers in Hong Kong and a giant reef fish was created. The aim of the previous year was to spread the message to stop consumption of reef fish and protect the earth’s coral reefs.

Check out their Facebook page to keep yourself posted! Registration ends 2nd November so be sure to book early here: https://goo.gl/DLV1Zw
