Family Fun At The Hong Kong Sevens!

It’s almost time for the Cathay Pacific/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens – cue the crazy costumes and frivolous fun! The tournament is set to be a great trip out for the whole family, with plenty of activities taking place from Friday, 5 April to Sunday, 7 April. If you haven’t bagged tickets for inside the arena, don’t worry! Head to the Fanwalk at Lee Gardens from 11am to 7pm for a ninja obstacle course, street performers and all the Sevens action on the big screen.

Or grab your sunscreen and picnic blanket and check out Sevens Central for the perfect family alternative to being in the stadium. Kicking off the party atmosphere is none other than the global mega-star, Gwen Stefani! With the local Hong Kong band Supper Moment opening for her at 7pm, gates open at 5pm on Friday, 5 April, so be sure to purchase tickets ($780) before they sell out via Ticketflap. Soak up the live rugby action on the big screens on Saturday, 6 April and Sunday, 7 April (12pm to 8pm), and you’ll think summer has arrived early as the party kicks up a gear with live music (including Pink, Oasis, The Rolling Stones and Queen tribute acts!), giveaways, performers and extra surprises. Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better – entry is completely free!
