Cotton On’s Typo is a fool-proof place to pick up presents when you’re on a strict budget. I actually picked up my a couple of these handy, portable, and perfectly oversized mugs to add to various Secret Santa parcels this year! The “There’s a rather large chance this is wine” caption is a favourite in our office. Made from porcelain, with a plastic and silicon lid, it ticks the eco-friendly box by limiting the amount of single-use plastic we waste with disposable water bottles. An ideal portable present for on-the-go parents!
Available online, or in Cotton On’s Typo Stores around town for $89.

In case you haven’t already heard, Charlotte Tilbury will be launching in Lane Crawford Hong Kong in April, 2018. If you’re looking to get your hands on it early, you can still order online – just be sure to factor in shipping time! Charlotte Tilbury’s Lip Lustre Luxe Colour offers a little touch of luxury and we’re loving the look of the classic ‘High Society’ shade.
Blended with anti-aging Lotus Flower extract, this lacquer creates the ideal colour-rich shine. Plus, the creamy formula promises to avoid that sticky, scared-to-sip-mulled-wine feeling. Phew! There’s even a little rumour going round that the colour lasts up to six hours – and we’re more than willing to put it to the test.
Available online at net-a-porter for $150.

If you’re looking to gift something a little more meaningful this year, it’s worth making a donation to a cause you care about. Whether that means supporting animal welfare, sustainability initiatives, individuals with disabilities or children and healthcare…
For $150, International Eye Health Organisation, The Fred Hollows Foundation gives sight to a person in need. With more than 36 million people blind in the world, it’s surprising to learn that four out of five don’t have to be. The most common forms of blindness (such as cataract, trachoma and diabetic retinopathy) can be prevented or treated with a simple and straight forward operation. And that’s exactly what your donation goes towards! You can personalise a message to your loved ones, and the donation is made in their name, with a gift or sight card sent to you.
Available online at The Fred Hollows Foundation
