Chances are, your little one is pretty darn adept at some form of a smartphone or tablet. (In our house, the iPad was mastered well before 2 – scary!) And while screen time has saved a family dinner out, this early immersion into the world of tech has some experts worried. And for good reason – in fact, a recent study shows that 58% of children under 6 know how to play a computer game, but only 20% know how to swim. Hmmm….
Join us on Thursday, 15 November for an extra special Mama Meet Up at 208 Duecento where we’ll hear from an edu-tech industry expert on how we can safely educate our children in the digital age. Enjoy yummy refreshments care of our friends at 208 while Dr. Dan D. Yang, a mother, world-renowned telecom entrepreneur and creator of the VINCI tablet for kids, talks about how to use safe technology to inspire genius in young children.
