It’s beach season – and time for a good ol’ holiday to sunnier climes, mama! If your one-piece is looking a bit faded after all that time chasing after the little ones in the sea, it’s time for an update. Take a look at our favourite new swimwear lines for 2015 that you’ve just got to check out, featuring collections for both you and the kiddos! Oh, and don’t forget to browse our comprehensive guide to swimwear stores in Hong Kong if none of the below strikes your fancy.

Island State Swimwear
This Australian label has recently launched in the 852 and we’ve quickly fallen in love with their pieces. Inspired by the founders’ photography and travel, they stock a variety of styles from bikinis, one-pieces and kaftans, if you want just a bit more coverage while sprawled out on the beach lounger. We also love their line of resort wear with bright, bold items like this 100% silk Lolita Kaftan ($1162) – you don’t have to show a lot of skin to make a statement, mama!

Bonus: Island State also have Swim Diapers for your little bubba!

This Hong Kong-based brand recently launched in Hong Kong with a swinging party at Mavericks that went ahead despite the red rainstorm warning! Founded by two childhood buddies, they were inspired by 90s hip-hop, graffiti, skateboarding and urban clothing when designing the board shorts and hilarious tees for guys and gals. If you’ve got tweens at home, they’re going to love feeling like the ‘cool kid on the block’ this beach season with the trendy picks from Made in Paradise.

Pick up a Dad-and-Son combo of bright, patterned trunks at Māzŭ Swimwear and get ready to hit the beach with the fam! The boyish charm of the pieces from Māzŭ such as these Junk High Tide trunks are perfect for the younger ones, or Dads who are young-at-heart! We love their attention to craftsmanship and detail that goes into each pair of swim shorts, with a soft-to-touch feel but strong durability.

These brightly-coloured one-and-two pieces are for those Sassy Mamas who prefer the clean and simple look. The White Moonstone bikini has mesh detailing on the neckline and on the side panels, which looks super sporty and sexy at the same time. Swimwear 2015 - Triangl

Triangl
Shine bright like neon… that’s what we think browsing through Triangl’s online lookbook. We’ve seen their styles on celebrities like Demi Lovato and love how structured they look. The Poppy bikini in Flamingo Fling (what cute names for the styles and colours too!) is one of our favourites.
