Little Dalton offers a unique learning experience for our students. We are proud to provide an opportunity to study in a bilingual, child-centered setting with an emphasis on inquiry and individualisation following the Dalton Plan. Students enrolled in our optional Extra Dalton classes gleam the benefits of additional reinforcement and extension of skills through practical application with their peers during a diverse variety of activities.

Curriculum

Little Dalton follows the British National Early Years Curriculum or Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). We are currently developing our own Chinese curriculum with support from the Tsing Hua University Primary School in Beijing.

PROCESS FOR PLAYGROUP
There is no interview for playgroup.
Applications are considered on a rolling basis. Offers are subject to availability. We will notify you by email when we can offer a place to your child. If a place is not available, your child will be put on the wait list and we will contact you as soon as a place is available.
Children attending Little Dalton Playgroup are given priority (without guarantee) for Little Dalton Pre-K.

PROCESS FOR PRE-K AND UP
Applicants will be invited to an interview if a place is available.
The goal of the interview is not to test the child but to assess the fit between the parents, the child and the school. A school tour is included during the interview.

Interviews and places are offered based on availability.
Hard copies of the application form and all required materials must be submitted by post, by courier or in person. As we require parent’s original signature on our application form, we cannot accept applications by email.

Application for enrollment during 2014/2015 (current academic year) or starting after 2015/2016

For children wishing to enroll between now and June 2015, applications will be considered on a rolling basis. Interviews and places are offered based on availability.
For enrollment after 2015/2016, applications are accepted and will be put on file. We will contact you when we begin to process applications for your target year of enrollment.
Hard copies of the application form and all required materials must be submitted by post, by courier or in person. Since we require parent’s original signature on our application form, we cannot accept applications by email.
