Get ready to build, create and play with LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre at K11 MUSEA. Check out the Hong Kong Lego® miniatures, get the kids into a Lego® workshop or let them run wild in the soft play area.
We’re sure our kids aren’t the only ones buzzing with excitement when we take them to LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre. It makes for a great family adventure and is easily combined with a ride on the Star Ferry, a walk down the Avenue of Stars or a visit to one of the many family-friendly museums in Tsim Sha Tsui. It’s entirely indoors so is a great respite from the summer heat and a good option to keep up your sleeve for a rainy afternoon.

Miniland® At LEGOLAND® Hong Kong
The first thing you’ll see as you enter LEGOLAND® is all your favourite Hong Kong attractions, in miniature! Our favourite buildings and landmarks have been created using over 1.5 million Lego bricks!
You may find the kids rush past in anticipation of rides and getting on with their own creations, but we sure loved checking out how well everything from the HSBC building to the Big Buddha and Tsim Sha Tsui clock tower have been carefully crafted in Lego. There are even horses racing at Happy Valley, trains coming and going at Wan Chai MTR station and the iconic red sails of the Aqua Luna junk boat sailing on Victoria Harbour.

Rides At LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre
While LEGOLAND® Hong Kong is on the smaller side, there are two rides – Kingdom Quest and Merlin’s Apprentice. All kids are welcome (accompanied by an adult) on Kingdom Quest as long as they can sit upright by themselves. To ride on Merlin’s Apprentice kids must be over 90cm. It does take a bit of peddle power so parents, be warned!
4D Studio
Make time to watch at least one of the LEGOLAND® 4D movies. These films are about 10 minutes long and alternate on the half hour. Pop on the 3D glasses to watch the characters jump off the screen and take it to the next level with a little rain, wind and even snow!

Playing At LEGOLAND®
Let’s face it, one of the biggest drawcards for the kids is the chance to build and create to their heart’s content. Your littlest LEGO® lovers can play in the DUPLO® farm (with a slide as well as a creative area), while older kids will love the LEGO® Friends and the Build and Test areas.
Our kids spent a big part of their time at the Build and Test area. They created all sorts of vehicles to race with their friends on the test ramps, as well towers on the earthquake shake mats.
They can also learn from the experts with a LEGO® Creative Workshop (be sure to book as soon as you enter as the sessions fill up quick!).
Those needing to burn off some energy can let loose in the soft play area. They can climb through tunnels and slip down the slides as they navigate the maze of equipment.

Cost Of LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Hong Kong
Admission is $240 for anyone over 3 years of age (kids under 3 are free). There are also annual passes available – $899 gets you unlimited access on weekdays for 12 months, while the Ultimate Annual Pass also gets you in all year round and costs $1,799 (with both passes giving you discounts and special offers for birthday parties, at the café and gift shop).
Be sure to check the website for special offers and ticket combos especially during the school holidays.

Practical Information About Visiting LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Hong Kong
Opening Hours: 11am to 7pm, Monday to Friday; 10am to 8pm, weekends and public holidays. Maximum session time is three hours.
Food Options: There is an onsite café to purchase snacks and drinks. Outside food isn’t allowed unless catering for babies or kids with allergies.
Sassy Mama Tip: Visit one of the many restaurants or food outlets in K11 MUSEA before or after your LEGOLAND® session. Or pack a picnic lunch and sit out on the waterfront before taking the Star Ferry home.
Toilets/Nursing Rooms/Changing Facilities: There are toilets and changing facilities inside Legoland®. If you need a private space to nurse or pump we’d recommend using the lovely nursery rooms in K11 MUSEA. These are located on B2, B1, L2 and L3.
Other tips/tricks/need to know:
- Make sure you bring socks for kids to wear in the soft play area.
- LEGOLAND® itself is quite small. If you arrive as it opens, walk past the Hong Kong exhibit (but make sure you come back to it!) and head straight through to the rides. Sign up immediately for the workshops while you’re at it as spaces are limited.

How To Get To LEGOLAND® Hong Kong:
LEGOLAND® Hong Kong is well connected to everywhere in the city! Conveniently located in K11 MUSEA in Tsim Sha Tsui. Like most malls, it can be a bit of a maze once you get inside! We found the easiest way to enter was to take the escalator down from the entrance near Salisbury Garden. It is right near the Hong Kong Space Museum and the intersection of Nathan and Salisbury Road.
Catching The MTR
- Tsim Sha Tsui station. Take exit E and walk down Nathan Road. Cross at the traffic lights near the Peninsula Hotel and you’ll see the entrance to K11 MUSEA.
- Tsim Sha Tsui East station. Take exit J1 or J2. This will deliver you directly inside the mall so you will need to navigate through the shops to get to the LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre.
Take The Star Ferry
If you’re visiting from Hong Kong Island it’s well worth catching the Star Ferry to Tsim Sha Tsui. The kids always love the short boat ride across the harbour.
Driving/Parking
There is parking available at K11 MUSEA. It costs $28/hour Monday to Thursday and $30 per hour Friday to Sunday (and public holidays). There’s free parking offers with minimum spending in the mall by taking your receipts to the Koncierge desk. You can use your LEGOLAND® ticket to redeem free parking, but if you purchased online you will need to have a receipt printed at LEGOLAND® before proceeding to the Koncierge for redemption.
