Sleeping Beauty – The Panto

Its that time of year again – oh yes it is! Hong Kong Players returns with its 58th panto, and this time the cast are taking on the fairytale classic Sleeping Beauty. As King Frump celebrates the birth of his first child Beauty, the evil Fairy Marla crashes the happy occasion and curses Beauty to sleep for 100 years when she reaches her 18th birthday. But as Beauty’s big birthday approaches, she finds she has bigger problems to deal with than just her own. Can Beauty, the brave Prince and his Squire, the good Fairy Splenda, and some unlikely allies, overcome all the troubles that face the Kingdom?
