Because the best ingredients make for the most delicious food.
Are you cooking only for your own family this Christmas or are you hosting an annual end-of-year dinner for your colleagues? Perhaps you have you teamed up with friends and organising a potluck party at someone’s house? Either way, it is going to involve some elaborate festive cooking and you will need a rather specialised set of ingredients. We’ve found out the places from where you can get everything from turkey to lamb, cheese to jam, and all that’s in between. If you are also looking at easy dining-in options, we have also rounded up where you can get ready-to-cook items, takeaways and festive food and drink hampers. Happy cooking and bon appétit!
Where To Get Cooking Ingredients For Your Christmas Dinner
If you are looking to shop for free-range turkey, juicy legs of lamb and ham or the freshest seafood this Christmas, browse through Eat The Kiwi. This one-stop online grocery shop delivers all the freshness of New Zealand right to your doorstep. Their direct relationships also mean that their products are 100% traceable back to the source.
This year has turned the spotlight on the importance of respecting nature. At Eat The Kiwi, all the meat is grass-fed, non-GMO, hormone and steroid free and seafood, such as the salmon, clams and crayfish, is sustainably sourced. We also love that their recyclable, sustainably sourced cardboard boxes come lined with Woolcool, an insulating lining that you can reuse when you go on picnics or to the beach. Even if you do toss it into the landfill, you can rest assured that it is completely biodegradable. Eat The Kiwi is now offering contactless deliveries but once restrictions ease, you can also hand the Woolcool over to the delivery person the next time you place an order (once you have sampled their products, we’re pretty certain there will be repeat orders!) where it will be sanitised and reused.
You can get 10% off your orders with the code SASSYXMAS. Available for one use per person on orders placed in 2020.
