Summary

Wycombe Abbey School Hong Kong’s bi-cultural education focuses on fluency in English and Chinese. Chinese is taught as a discrete subject in every year group, with a similar number of lessons allocated to Chinese, English and Mathematics each week.

The school promotes a longer day to facilitate additional study and extra-curricular enrichment, so pupils are encouraged to stay for extra-curricular activities, including calligraphy, dance, swimming, football, etc. Students can also sign up for Homework Club or additional language classes.

STEP 3
Applications are then reviewed by their expert panel. Families will be notified of the outcome within two weeks of the assessment. Once a place is offered, the School requires prospective parents to confirm their intentions within ten days, failing which the place will be offered to the next candidate on the waiting list.
