Visit the Hong Kong Children’s Discovery Museum this summer to check out its new Amazing Bugs! exhibition. It aims to teach kids about the diversity of bugs and their vital role in nature. Little ones will love the story stage where they can dress up as their favourite bug and be transported to its natural habitat (via a green screen!). The Tinkering Lab exhibit, where children are encouraged to design a new big species with survival skills, will also be a favourite. They’ll be able to view bug X-rays in the Light It! lab too and join a demonstration with live bugs at the videomicroscope (don’t worry – the bugs are harmless and behind protective enclosures!).
