You might already be all set for the summer but this year Stamford American has a truly special camp we think your kids will love. Partnering with “The Spike Lab,” this fun-filled, entrepreneurial week of startup boot camp will be offered to 20 lucky children, age 13 to 17. They’ll have the chance to learn the ins and outs of startup life, from designing their prototype and planning their product launch, to pitching to would-be investors. The camp is open to all (not just Stamford students!) but as spaces are limited (meaning your child will benefit even more due to the small group size). Applicants will be selected based on a short questionnaire and telephone interview. The camp itself is unique but is priced at a very reasonable $800 for the week-long camp. Applications are due by Monday, 25 June, and successful campers will be notified of placement on Tuesday, 26 June. Find out more about the startup boot camp here.

When summer’s over and you are looking for a new school for your kid – good news! Stamford American is also offering a one week, fast-track enrolment scheme this summer. Perfect for if you’re looking into through-train and IB education options in HK. After applying you will know the result of your application one week after your assessment. Places are limited, so call to check for availability. To read more about this opportunity click here.
