Rev up the credit cards, mama! We’re taking you on a whirlwind tour of the best kids’ shopping boutiques across Southeast Asia

The Fragrant Harbour may be known for its fabulous and infinite shopping, but aside from our favorite local spots, Southeast Asia has some of the most amazing kids’ shopping boutiques around (we so adore Seminyak, Bali, in fact, that we couldn’t even pick just one!). Trust us when we say you’ll be booking your next family getaway just to update your little one’s wardrobe, mama! Enjoy these tropical gems.

Bangkok:

Carters-Kids-Shopping-SMSG
Carter’s
This American brand is a beloved institution, and thankfully, they ship to Hong Kong. But what if you don’t want to pay the international shipping fees and then have to wait for your goods to be delivered?! Head to Bangkok, ladies. Carter’s stocks everything from infant to tween clothing, in modern and fashionable prints that are good-quality, long-lasting, and super-reasonably priced. Shop by season or festive occasion (we adore their Halloween collection!) and ensure that your kiddo is never out of style. Bangkok, we are so jealous!

Ho Chi Minh City:

Albetta-Kids-Shopping-SMSG
Albetta

A great one-stop shop for fashionable but simple designs, Albetta has a huge range of cute and comfortable prints. Rest assured bub (and mama) will love picking out their favorites from bunnies to boats and lions to rocket ships. They’ve got two shops in Saigon: our pick is the District 2 location amidst an enclave of specialty shops and cafes!

Albetta, M7 – M9 – M11, Đường B, KCN Cát Lái, Phường Thạnh Mỹ Lợi, Quận 2, Vietnam
Tel: (+84) 8 3742 2031, www.albetta.com

Singapore:

LMS navy pyramids LARGE

Elly

This sweet label is native to Singapore and boasts clothing that is beautiful, yet comfy and practical. That combo is attractive to any mum. Elly offers lightweight cotton onesies and dresses for girls and fun-printed button downs for boys. Their simple, colorful theme also makes it way to lightweight cheongsams and colorful PJs. Too good to pass up next time you’re in Singers.

Kids Emporium
If you love Parisian fashion, you’ll be saying ‘j’adore!’ to Kids Emporium, mama. With French-inspired prints and Italian designers like il gufo, your little one can dress to impress with these on-trend ensembles. Oui oui!

Kuala Lumpur:

Little-Cuties-Kids-Clothing-SMSG
Little Cutie
Ultimately, the shop’s brand name says it all as your little cutie is bound to be the belle of the ball with the huge selection of dresses, ballerina-inspired skirts and Frozen character costumes (sorry mama, we just can’t let it go!). We love this independent boutique’s consistent use of pastel shades that are perfect for all seasons and occasions.

Little Cutie, Jalan Gelugor, 55200, Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, Tel: (+60) 3 2724 0988 , www.littlecutie.com.my

Manila:

Gingersnaps-Kids-Shopping-SMSG Gingersnaps
Available in neighbouring countries’ like Thailand and Singapore, the adorable, fashion-forward, Filipino brand Gingersnaps is sadly not available in Hongkers. Though you can shop this insanely cute brand in many retail locations around Southeast Asia, their Manila flagship in Makati is definitely worth a visit for a wider selection and better prices! Stocking everything from maternity clothing to clothing for teeny-tiny tikes (take note: their sizes run small), even their gift boxes are adorable. We’re big fans of their fruit punch collection, which will have you booking your next family vacay in no time!

Gingersnaps, 3rd Floor Phase 2 Greenbelt 5 Ayala Center, Greenbelt Drive, Esperanza Street, Tel: (+632) 654-3612-13, www.gingersnaps.com.ph

Phnom Penh:

Mamas can browse from a selection of Asian inspired or modern designs, all proudly made in Cambodia. We guarantee you’ll be adding every single one of their adorable baby rompers to your basket. Bonus: If Siem Reap is your only destination in Cambodia, Little Phnom Penh has just debuted a “tuk tuk” collection in the boutique at Le Meridien Angkor!
