Grab the kiddos and head to Kowloon for a day out!
The holiday period is coming to an end, and we’re all reminiscing over the glorious week we had off. If your munchkins got a little too comfortable having adventures with the family over the holidays, head to Olympian City on Saturday, 20 February and Sunday, 21 February for another fun day out!
The Lantern Festival Kids Market is a great, family-friendly way to spend the weekend. There will be 10 stalls each day, featuring a wide range of loving and seasonal handmade delicacies, accessories and toys. And all the stalls are run by kids… what a way to get them involved in the community!
Enjoy an afternoon of entertaining carnival games, temporary henna tattoos, a soft clay workshop, and a photo booth. One special mama, Esther, is a youth worker who homeschools her kids. She’ll be on hand with a playgroup session, so your cheeky cherubs can learn while having a good time. What a way to create some sweet memories for the whole family.
The best bit is that half the proceeds from the market will be donated to Changing Young Lives Foundation, an organisation that improves the livelihood of underprivileged children and youth in Hong Kong and China… it’s definitely worth checking out the market for this reason alone.
So, mamas, mark your diaries for this weekend and head down to Olympian City for a family day out! See you there!
