Book A Junk Party
For a private party that’s all inclusive with meals and free-flow alcohol for the parents and juice for the kids, your safe bet is to book a private night charter. Most junks will operate through the night and take you close to watch the fireworks light up the harbour.
See our Hong Kong junk boat guide for more information.

Watch The Fireworks!
Matching last year’s extravaganza, Hong Kong will again transform the night sky over Victoria Harbour with a 12-minute fireworks show. We can’t wait to experience this year’s theme, ‘The Symphony of Happiness,’ where the beauty of nature comes alive through spectacular visual effects. The celebration begins early with a pre-show lighting up the harbour every 15 minutes from 11pm on New Year’s Eve.
Plot your gameplan and check out all the best places to watch the fireworks in Hong Kong.
