Popinjays, The Murray Hong Kong
See the New Year in in style at Popinjays. The Murray’s rooftop bar has been a favourite of ours ever since it opened, so we think it’s the perfect place to make sure 2019 gets off to a good start. You can choose to wine and dine there between 7pm to 10pm, with a six-course menu that includes caviar blinis, venison loin and mushroom ravioli and a spiced orange and chocolate cream (yum!). Or for those who just want to join for the countdown to 2019, you can pay $500 entry (which includes a glass of champagne). And don’t worry if you overindulge, you can always return the next day for a recovery brunch with the kids in tow. We think the cheese fondue, grilled meats and pastas are a great way to nurse you back to health and will also please the little ones.
