Online Training For Virtual Storytelling For Children With Hearing Impairments

With the shift to online learning, children with hearing impairments face challenges in hearing and understanding with large class groups. This can impact their self-esteem and confidence to speak. HandsOn Hong Kong has partnered with Bring Me A Book Hong Kong (BMABHK) and the Hong Kong Society for the Deaf, to launch an English language virtual storytelling programme for children with hearing impairments.

Anyone interested in volunteering must join an online training session through Zoom.

Time: 10am

Participating volunteers must be available for one-hour every Saturday for at least a three-week period, starting from Saturday, 6 June 2020 (at either 9:30am or 3:30pm). A detailed schedule will be provided during the training session.
