Our own art hub in Hong Kong, SCAD, is opening its doors to prospective students to gain first-hand experience of the acclaimed university that is leading the way in creative education. Visitors will be able to attend workshops led by the award winning faculty, and get a feel for the life of a SCAD student. In addition to Acrylic Painting and Digital Illustration workshops Professor David Pierce will give a Fashion Water Colours workshop that will teach guests how to perfectly illustrate the flow of fabric using both fashion body templates and observation.
SCAD Day offers prospective students and their families the opportunity to experience the university’s unparalleled academic environment, hear more about the application process, financial aid and scholarships, as well as receiving portfolio counselling. Students at SCAD Hong Kong have access to state of the art resources that allow them to become masters in their fields, including digital labs and studios, darkrooms, a green screen studio, and sound design and editing suites. SCAD Day allows prospective students access to these facilities and tasters of the courses available. For more info, visit SCAD.
