TEDxTinHau Women ‘UNCHARTED’ 2026

TEDxTinHau Women is celebrating its 10^th anniversary this year with its biggest lineup yet! Taking place on Friday, 2 October 2026 at the Xiqu Centre in West Kowloon Cultural District, this event will see 13 inspiring speakers across 11 talks take the stage under the banner of 2026’s theme ‘UNCHARTED’. The event invites you to explore the unknown, discover fresh perspectives and step beyond familiar territory, all to embrace endless transformation, curiosity and possibility.

TEDxTinHau Women is a leading platform in Hong Kong for women-led voices, and this year ups the ante. In addition to a diverse group of speakers – representing six countries, eight languages and four decades – and a vibrant community fair where mamas can network, 2026 also marks the introduction of Quests. These are intimate, expert-led workshops and excursions to take you beyond the main stage and get immersed in new ideas. Transport is provided back to the afternoon event after your quest is over, and this is what’s on offer:

• Happy Hormones: Beyond The Recipe – An interactive cooking workshop to dive into the science of women’s health
• Empathy In The Workplace – A high-stakes corporate ‘whodunit’ simulation
• The Actor’s Approach To Public Speaking – Conquer the spotlight with tips from an award-winning actor
• Under Pressure: What Happens When All Eyes Are On You? – Practice regulating your nervous system with performance experts
• Chungking Unwrapped: A Journey Beyond Bias – Combining refugee experiences and a sensory journey through Chungking Mansions to reveal the hidden biases in everyday lives

Both half-day and full-day passes are available. The half-day pass gives you access to an immersive experience with thought-provoking TED-style talks, a vibrant fair between sessions showcasing innovative NGOs and local trailblazers and a delicious lunch. The evening culminates with networking and drinks, giving you a unique opportunity to connect with fellow attendees, speakers and community leaders. The full-day ticket also includes a Quest workshop of your choosing in the morning. This is the only TEDx event of this scale in Hong Kong open to all and it offers a wonderful experience that promises to broaden your horizons and inspire change.
