The Hong Kong International School is hosting a yoga festival in conjunction with “Yoga Stops Traffick” NGO. With the help of yoga instructors like Yogi Bangora and organisations such as: Enrich HK, Liberty Asia, Mekong Club HK, attendees are invited to perform 108 sun salutations to show solidarity, and raise awareness against human trafficking. During the event, yogis will have the chance to learn more about local NGO’s fighting modern-day slavery on a daily basis, whilst tucking into fresh food catered by NOSH and MANA.
All proceeds from the event go towards Odinadi, an NGO based in Mysore, India, that combats sexual exploitation and human trafficking through prevention methods, rescues, rehabilitation programmes, awareness, and yoga therapy.
No prior yoga experience is needed. Bring Your Own Mat. Yoga mat rentals are available for $50.
Running from 4:30pm to 8pm.
