Post Category - Arts + CultureArts + Culture

As part of the Li Po Chun United World College ‘Project Week’, 12 students take on a great challenge! The students—most without performance experience—will have one week to prepare a Verbatim Theatre performance focusing on the lives of ex- offenders in Hong Kong.

Verbatim Theatre uses the actual words of the ex-offenders as the basis of the play, which explores themes of crime, punishment and rehabilitation. In collaboration with the HK Christian Kun Sun Association, the students will work with former prison inmates before presenting their stories onstage (in English & Cantonese) on Friday, 13 March at the Multi-media Theatre, HKICC Lee Shau Kee School of Creativity, 135 Junction Road, Kowloon, Hong Kong at 7.30pm prompt.

Tickets ($100) are available at the door or from Steve Reynolds @ 66211725/28122760 or [email protected]. All proceeds go to the HK Christian Kun Sun Association and their work with ex- offenders. Don’t miss this one chance to find out more about crime, punishment and rehabilitation in Hong Kong!
