The Metro stroller from historic Italian brand, WIP, is compact and practical thanks to an innovative folding system that is the result of 4 years of development.  But don’t let its simple, elegant design (care of Edoardo Perri) fool you – WIP made its name in sports equipment, so it’s only natural that the Metro is made of some seriously rugged material, has shock-absorbing wheels, and a centralized braking system. It also folds down to fit easily in a closet and weighs less than 20lbs, making it a super choice for us city dwellers.

An added bonus that we love is that the fabric meets the OEKO-TEX Standard 100, the international certification that sets limits for over 100 harmful chemicals, substances, and emissions in textiles so your little bambino is safe in more ways that one.  And while its look is minimal bordering on zen, it’s got all sorts of nifty optional accessories – a cozy footmuff, a PVC-free rain hood, coordinated bag….
