Aberdeen is such a fab shopping area for mamas, but it can be tricky to figure out what’s open when (a lot of the shops have limited opening hours), so we’re thrilled to announce Aberdeen Fest, a special two-day shopping event pulled together by different businesses around the area. As well as cool stores like Mirth and Attic Lifestyle, you can also check out new businesses like Elite Personal Training and independent designers like Boho Betty, Poppy & Jules and Burnt Oringe.
To help those of us who are a little directionally challenged (how is it that iPhone Maps actually makes me MORE confused about where I’m going?), they’ve also put together this map which shows how to do the shop crawl!
Flex are also putting together a special programme of fitness activities throughout Aberdeen Fest and continuing on Saturday 17th. Pick up free samples of the new must-have luxury organic/locally sourced live food bars, developed by Hong Kong due Stephen and James Costello. Or, try out the fantastically healthy new Y Water, a great alternative for fussy little ones who don’t get enough H2O.
Kenny and Liam, Flex’s physical therapists will be at the studio to offer free postural pointers for you and your kids and answer questions about all kinds of pain and injuries, from pregnancy aches to wonky backs from lugging around the tots.
