The Creative Anniversaries Charity Walk: A Milestone Celebration With Heart

Creative Schools Continuum’s Anniversaries Charity Walk encompassed a day of fun, community spirit and social responsibility!

On Sunday, 16 February 2025, the Creative Schools Continuum — encompassing Creative Secondary School (CSS), Creative Primary School (CPS), and Creative Primary School’s Kindergarten (CPSKG) — laced up their trainers for its milestone Creative Anniversaries Charity Walk. This special event celebrated 40 years of CPS and CPSKG, alongside 20 years of CSS, while raising vital funds for the Community Chest of Hong Kong. Speaking to the ethos of its schools, the event united families, built magical memories and supported those in need across our city.

For decades, the Creative Schools Continuum has been a cornerstone of bilingual education in Hong Kong, nurturing children from age 3 to 18 with a unique blend of English and Chinese learning. This year, as CPS and CPSKG toasted to four decades of shaping young minds, and as CSS celebrated two, the schools threw open their doors (and their hearts!) to the wider community. Creative Anniversaries Charity Walk was the embodiment of taking the schools’ holistic learning model beyond the classroom, giving families and children the chance to celebrate communal good and promote social responsibility.

The Creative Anniversaries Charity Walk was the perfect Sunday — filled with laughter, community and purpose — and reflected Creative Schools Continuum’s standout curriculum, which balances academic rigour with cultural roots and global awareness. But don’t get it twisted — while the Creative Anniversaries Charity Walk was a chance to see firsthand how the three schools produce well-rounded kids, it wasn’t just a school event; it symbolised a citywide call to connect. Families and students alike showed up to strengthen their community bonds and support the Community Chest, a charity dedicated to helping those in need across Hong Kong. Here, mamas, kids and neighbours came together to support a worthy cause!
