It’s that time of year again, mama, where we’re all in a tizzy over getting organised for the new school year. Once the school supplies and brand-new backpacks are sorted, we’ve also got to figure out how to work in fun after-school activities into the kids’ jam-packed diaries. Whether that’s something sporty or if they prefer to unleash their inner Picasso at art classes, here’s our roundup of extra-curricular classes for 2015.
This is one company we love over at Sassy Mama! Sport4Kids offers up classes for kids as young as 18 months all the way up to 10 years. This is truly your one-stop shop for sporting activities for your little ones: they’ve got rugby, dance, football, basketball, gymnastics and more for energetic rugrats. For all you mamas who have kiddos enrolled in an ESF school, this one’s perfect for you. ESF Educational Services offers a range of sports classes that will allow your kiddos to stay healthy and energised! From basketball to swimming, this organisation offers a variety of sporting activities from end of August until December.
This just in! Debuting on Tuesday, 4 August, miniBOUNCE, launched by BOUNCEinc, will have your little ones jumping for joy! Not only will this be a fun-filled experience for your little ones as they get to jump from trampoline to trampoline, but it will also allow them to develop and strengthen their cognitive functioning and motor skills. It’s a win-win!

Now the company launches Rumple & Friends Big Top Academy featuring their signature Circus classes, Musical Theatre classes and Drama sessions all located in the heart of Central. Classes will run for a 12-week term, taught by professional performers who have trained at The National Centre for Circus, The Royal Shakespeare Company and The National Theatre in the UK to name a few. The Theatre Bus
As school season is nearing, it’s the perfect time to contemplate activities that will keep your kiddos energised and busy, as well as provide them with a healthy balance, during their time off from school.
The Theatre Bus is a professional theatre company that is offering weekly drama classes in Autumn, on Saturdays and Mondays (depending on location and language ability) for the little ones from 4 to 9 years old. Their classes offer fun-filled environments in which the children are able to build confidence and unleash creativity through the world of drama. Additionally, these classes will also allow them to build fundamental skills such as communication and teamwork! At the end of the term, kiddos will have the opportunity to perform a live, costumed drama for all you mamas to watch!
