Can you tell me how to get to Sesame Street? Well, it turns out it’s just a short flight away! Universal Studios Singapore has just confirmed the rumours that yes, Sesame Street (ie: the longest-running and most beloved children’s television program ever) will be developed into their latest family-oriented theme park “experience” that includes rides, special shows, plus character breakfasts where you can get up close and personal with the likes of Big Bird, Elmo, and Cookie Monster.
And while it will still be some time before this part of the park is open and ready for business (for now the super fun Shrek and Madagascar lands will just have to do!), little fans won’t have to wait to see the characters in the park as just in time for the school holidays there are now three live shows featuring the Sesame Street characters – a stage show and two street shows – as well as meet-and-greets with the characters and a weekend breakfast event with the show’s stars.
