Is the Alberta Education system right for your child?
Looking for a unique and flexible learning environment for your child? Christian Alliance International School (CAIS) is an international IB-candidate school that provides Christian education from preparatory to grade 12 with the curriculum of Alberta Education. Unlike other international education systems, this curriculum can be tailored to your child – it allows students to focus on their strengths and study subjects that they have strong interests in.
CAIS has chosen the Alberta curriculum as it is one of the top-performing learning systems in the world (you can get a parent’s perspective here). Students often get great results in the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA, an international assessment which assesses 15-year-old students’ reading, mathematics, and science literacy every three years). They go on to get admission to leading universities and colleges around the world.
CAIS also offers an in-depth oral (Mandarin) and written Chinese programme (simplified and traditional scripts), providing support across all levels from native speakers to beginners.
Diversity and inclusion are more than just catchwords here; they are the norm. You will find a wide range of students here – varying in backgrounds, interests and abilities, but all brought together by an emphasis on service-led learning. Students at CAIS are encouraged to work towards positively impacting the world around them through a series of community engagement initiatives. This, in turn, leads to academic excellence and holistic personal development. This transformative educational experience in school can help them fulfil their potential as Christian leaders and global citizens.
Always collaborative in its approach, CAIS has a global network and is well connected with other leading schools in Hong Kong and overseas. The school is now in expansion mode. Upon the completion of phase 2, the already well-equipped campus will feature five laboratories, two gymnasiums, a football pitch, a 300-seat lecture theatre, a 600-seat concert theatre. If you would like to know more, reach out to the admissions team. They can answer any queries year-round and help you register for an information session on Saturday, 17 October.
