If one of your new year’s resolutions is to be a little more charitable, check out Christian Action’s Chungking Mansions Service Centre for Refugees & Asylum Seekers. They’re in urgent need of disposable diapers for 2016 – as we all know, it’s super important that our bubbas are dry and comfy.
There are about 100 refugee babies cared for, and all come from families that are displaced, disadvantaged, traumatised, and extremely poor. From this month, the centre needs two things: up to $10,000 a month for disposable diapers and in-kind donations of diapers* in medium, large or extra-large.
The drive is to raise money for the diapers they will need for the whole of 2016, so it’s really important that we all support them and help out where we can. A donation of $100 or more will get a tax-deductible receipt.
If you can help out in any way, fill out the donation form here, including the payment instructions. You can pay by cheque, bank transfer and credit card. Remember to tick “Specific Activity” and write “Refugee Baby Diapers” so your donation goes to the right channel.
Donating diapers? Drop them off at:

Mamas, this is really an urgent appeal for families who are desperately in need this year, so at Sassy Mama HQ, we urge you to do what you can to help them.
*Note: please no cloth diapers!
