Log In Kids Pop-up Circus

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, roll up roll up – the circus is coming to town! The Community Cultural Ambassador of LCSD are bringing you a pop-up circus programme! If you’re little one’s love to clown around, then don’t miss the chance to develop their skills in an acrobatic, hands-on experience. They’ll learn to hula hoops and juggle as well as a series of percussion movements and even how to apply circus makeup.

When: Every Saturday and Sunday throughout January
Where: Log In Kids, 502, 5/F Citimark , 28 Yuen Shun Circuit, Siu Lek Yuen, Shatin
How much:$720 / 4 lessons (little ones only), $960 / 4 lessons (1 child family), $1120 / 4 lessons (2 children family).

1894 Hong Kong Plague – a Musical

A moving musical based on a tragic episode in Hong Kong history, the story follows a Chinese doctor practicing traditional medicine and his son, a student of Western medicine. Prepare to embark on a roller coaster of the conflicted emotions and practices as they face a deadly epidemic. Grab the tissues if you’re off to see this one mama, as you encounter physical and mental suffering as the family search for peace and happiness.

When: Sunday, 10, January – Sunday, 17 January

Tung Wah Charity Carnival

Set to be one of the newest hot spots in the city, the Tung Wah Charity Carnival is set against the incredible Hong Kong sky line, hosting more than 40 thrilling amusement rides and game stalls! Grab the family and head on over for a great day out in the crisp winter air, as you dare to ride the ‘Tourbillon’ and heaps other free-fall experiences. For those a little less brave (raises hand), browse the family and souvenir zones and tuck in to some great tucker in the food court. Part of the event proceeds will be donated to the Tung Wah Hospital group, helping to support the youth of Hong Kong.

When: Monday, 4 January – Monday, 28 March
Where: The Former Kai Tak Runway (Adjacent to Kai Tak Cruise Terminal)

Italian Sky Garden Cinema

We’re mad for a roof-top cinema here in Hong Kong, and with our incredible skyline, why wouldn’t we be, mama? The Sky Roof-top Garden is the place to be every Saturday in January, with three, classic Italian films being the centre piece of these cool, winter nights. From The Godfather to Gladiator grab a ticket and settle in for the evening – bring along the older kiddos and make it a family occasion. Come mingle early for a complimentary cocktail at Jinjuu HK before the movie starts and a goodie bag filled with Italian treats!

When: Every Saturday from 9 – 23, January, 8pm
Where: 9/F Sky Garden, California Tower, Central, Hong Kong
