To celebrate and raise awareness of Belgium (and in honour of the King’s birthday on November 15th!), private members club KEE and the Consulate of Belgium is hosting Hong Kong’s first ever Belgium week.

There will be a plethora of events suitable for everyone! From gastronomy, art and design, to music, you’re sure to find something to satisfy the whole clan. Events will be happening all over Hong Kong during this week so don’t forget to check out the events page to stay updated.

 

12th – 13th November: Official opening of photography exhibition “Hong Kong and Islands” by Belgian photographer Jean-Pierre Ruelle

12th – 19th November: ArtOne exhibition showcasing Belgian art

13th November: Music artist Filip Jordens will be performing in the style of singer-songwriter Jacques Brel

15th – 16th November: KEE club is hosting gala dinners on both these nights, with a gourmet menu created by Michelin-starred Belgian Guest Chef Loic Villers

15th – 19th November: Comics exhibition on the highlights of Belgian comic strip art

17th November: business seminar on “Cross-border investment flows between Belgium and China with a focus on the creative industry”

17th November – 15th January: exhibition featuring Belgian artist Andy Wauman; his artworks focus on the possibility of freedom

19th November: sleep performance by MicroSleepDub. The performance focuses on micro sound, architecture and urbanism
