As parents, we hope our young ones never end up in the hospital, but just in case, it’s best to be prepared for any situation. Hong Kong Children’s Hospital is a tertiary referral centre for serious and rare cases, from birth to 18 years old. The hospital has been sustainably designed with children in mind, featuring colourful decor, animal characters adorning the walls, a play area for patients, foldable night beds for parents and even family overnight rooms. Note that it does not have an accident and emergency department nor a general outpatient clinic.
