Head to Tai Kwun this weekend for SPARK: The Science and Art of Creativity, Hong Kong’s first free “festival of ideas” that promises to celebrate creativity across the arts, sciences and education. Organised by the British Council, it will feature over 30 interactive events by over 50 partners, some of which include the Science Museum, British Library, Hong Kong Design Institute, Hong Kong Design Centre, as well as universities in Hong Kong and in the United Kingdom. Programme highlights include a ‘brain-controlled’ movie, art installations, a musical extravaganza which features a live tornado on stage and an original soundtrack by Emmy Award-winning songwriter Amy Wadge, and even virtual time travel!
