The 3rd Hong Kong Kids Ocean Day will now join forces with the HK-SF Ocean Film Festival and Ocean Art Walk in 2015.

Kids Ocean Day is a comprehensive environmental education program designed to motivate children to care about beaches, the ocean and our neighbourhoods that impact these assets.

The program includes school assemblies and the Beach Appreciation Excursion, where students and volunteers send a creative, inspiring message to the community through an Human Aerial Art Spectacular; based on a drawing created by a local Hong Kong Student.

Kids Ocean Day is a 21 year old environmental program created by the Malibu Foundation in LA in order to give children a chance to experience the beach, and appreciate the importance of protecting it, in many cases, for children who had never even been to the beach before.

Last year over 1000 participants created a giant shark. These numbers increase every year along with local exposure.
