HSBC recently announced the findings of their latest “expat experience” survey. How’d this part of the world do?
Here are a few nuggets that we found interesting:
*Expats in Hong Kong feel their health has diminished – almost one in four expats in HK complain of personal health problems since moving to the region.
*Of all the regions of the world, Asia emerged as the place to go for making friends – with Thailand ranking as the easiest country overall to make friends in, followed by Vietnam, Hong Kong and Malaysia.
*Nine in 10 expat parents living in Singapore felt they had moved to a safer, more childcare-friendly place for their youngsters.
