Get Ready to MOVE for Movember, Mama!

The month of the moustache is upon us mama, and whether you love them or hate them, The Movember Foundation is leading a global commitment to change the face (quite literally) of men’s health. Having raise dover $5 billion Hong Kong Dollars in funds for prostate cancer and poor mental health since 2003, this is definitely a charity we can get behind – facial hair aside! This year Movember is all about moving, and whether you simply want to support your hubby in growing his tash by making a donation, or just fancy getting involved, expect to see a surge in furry upper lips and a lot more MOVEment in the city!  Be sure to register as an honorary Mo Sista and check out these events and campaigns happening across the month…

Wig Out Movember at Mahalo Tiki Bar

We know you’re totally over Halloween, but it’s time to face Pottinger Street once again in the name of Wigging Out for Movember! Pop on your funkiest, most colourful wig (or tash!) and watch HK’s favourite mixologists battle it out behind the bar for your votes on the best cocktail – all in aid The Movember Foundation.

When: Thursday, 19 November, 8pm-11pm
Where: Mahalo, QRE Plaza, Wanchai

PizzaExpress & Beef & Liberty Mid Mo Party

Enter two whole floors of live music, pizza, burgers and plenty of free-flow vino (yippee!) complete with Mo makeovers and plenty of giveaways and prizes. Aditionally, Beef & Liberty will start serving their delicious Mo’Quinoa burger with every $10 from each sale going towards the charity!

When: Wednesday 18 November from 7.00pm
