Spa Session at Sea: Summer Junk Brought to you by The Whale Life

Get zen’d out at this spa day retreat at sea! This new boutique events company, The Whale Life, is all set to let us indulge in a full day of pampering! Spoil yourself with massages and manicures on the boat, a world away from the hustle and bustle of the city. You can replenish with nutritious, wholesome lunch prepared by NOSH, the healthy fare expert, and enjoy fresh cold pressed juices and a cheeky Mimosa. We’ll toast to that!

How much: $890 per person – $990 depending on the package.

Retykle's First Pop Up with Maggie & Rose

Retykle’s First Pop Up with Maggie & Rose

Hit up the private family members club, Maggie & Rose, to shop for brand new and pre-loved clothing. Retykle prides itself in selling and donating children’s clothing for 0-8 year olds, featuring more than 250 designer brands and offering discounts of up to 90%. A perfect (and hassle-free!) way for you to share your kid’s outgrown clothes with local charities and other kiddos. Sera Murphy Florals will be there to create dainty floral headdresses for the little ones, and the first 10 shoppers on Friday, 9 June will receive a free flower crown. Your kiddies will also learn to make their own at Sera’s flower crown workshop on Saturday, 10 June. As a bonus, 5% of profits from the event will be donated to HandsOn Hong Kong, Retykle’s charity partner.

When: 2pm-8pm on Friday, 9 June and 9am-12 noon on Saturday, 10 June

Family Show: The Tiger Who Came to Tea

There’s no shortage of family fun this season! Following its great success in London’s West End, The Tiger Who Came to Tea is coming to Hong Kong this June. Based on the picture book written and illustrated by Judith Kerr, this classic tale about the stripy, tea-guzzling tiger promises plenty of magic and sing-a-long songs. It’s sure to be an engaging show to let your little one’s imagination run wild!

When: 5pm on Friday, 2 June, 11am/2pm/4:30pm on Saturday, 3 June, and 11am/2pm/4:30pm on Sunday, 4 June.
Where: Drama Theatre, The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, 1 Gloucester Road, Wan Chai

Hong Kong International Burger Eating Competition

Calling all burger fanatics in the family! Put your stomach to the test and enter Hong Kong’s first burger eating competition. To celebrate the second anniversary of Burger Joys, join the battle with other burger junkies and see if you can demolish the monster burger (consisting of two buns, eight dense layers of beef patties and toppings)! The first to finish in 15 minutes wins a prize of $1,000 cash, a Burger Cup, a $500 cash coupon for Burger Joy and Burger Joys exclusive merchandise (along with bragging rights!). There will also be a hot wing challenge (for those who like life on the spicy side)!

Wine x Perfume Pairing Afternoon Tea Workshop at Bungalow
