A Summer Of Active Fun With The Harbour School

Gone F.I.S.H-ing! The Fully Immersive Scholar’s Holiday courses that’ll have your children wishing that summer will never end.

If you haven’t already felt it from the increased heat and humidity, summer is coming – and with it, the task of choosing extra-curricular activities to keep your kids entertained during the long school break. This summer, The Harbour School (THS) has the perfect option in the form of its Fully Immersive Scholar’s Holiday courses (F.I.S.H), designed for youngsters aged 5 to 14. You’ll find a huge range of fascinating and fun new topics to get stuck into over the holidays (while still learning at the same time!). From STEAM activities to band camp, LEGOs, literacy, and the arts, to wildlife exploring and imagination workshops, there is something for every inquisitive learner. Even better, all courses and camps are open to everyone in Hong Kong and are packed with fun, hands-on projects that students can complete and take home each week.

Do you have water babies who feel at home near the sea? Give them the opportunity to explore more about the wonders of the ocean and marine ecosystems in the Marine Science Center. Perhaps you’ve got a budding engineer on your hands, interested in finding out how things work? They can tinker away, fabricating their own projects at the Foundry makerspace. Or dive into life on the open waves by climbing aboard the school’s 50-foot sailboat (the Black Dolphin) and heading out on the water. If that’s not enough, there are numerous other courses and summer camps to choose from, all running at various times between 9am to 4pm, from Tuesday, 2 July to Friday, 16 August 2019.

With small group sizes ensuring great one-on-one attention, all courses are taught by THS’s dedicated staff using the school’s active learning approach to real-world issues (allowing your little scholar to have heaps of fun while developing a 360-degree view of a topic and the world around them).
