The Ultimate Obstacle Course: The Spartan Kids Race is Back!

This is sparta… kids!

Back by popular demand, The Spartan Kids Race is returning this November bringing your kiddos a course that is more challenging than last year! If your children are up for adventure and getting messy (and we can bet they are!) than this race is definitely for them. The race was created to help young athletes of all athletic abilities foster a lifelong commitment to fitness and health. These events provide an opportunity for racers to develop and test their fitness in an exciting outdoor environment where having fun and getting dirty is mandatory!

The obstacle course will have your tykes crawling, climbing, running and pulling themselves through a variety of exciting and fun challenges. Packed full of adventure, the course will encourage your kids to test their fitness and endurance all while having a good time with their peers. Every finisher will receive a Spartan Kids t-shirt, headband, medal… and of course, bragging rights!

We can all agree that being physical is essential in helping our kiddos develop healthy habits by developing strength and endurance. The Spartan Kids Race is build to help your children become fitter, stronger and healthier!

The race is opened for kids aged 4 to 13 with a competitive heat open for kids aged 11 – 13. For the younger ones (aged 4 – 7 years), the total distance will be 1 km, and for the older kids (aged 8 – 13 years), the total distance will be 2 km. If a t-shirt, headband and medal wasn’t enough incentive, the fastest three boys and three girls will receive a special prize in the competitive heat!

If your younger ones are slightly nervous running the race (read: if mamas and papas watching are slightly nervous!), 4 year old competitors must have an adult race chaperone, whereas 5 – 7 year olds have the option of having an adult chaperone.
