Sassy Scoop: Mama Meet-up – find out about relocation and international schooling in Hong Kong

LearnPost Category - LearnLearn - Post Category - SchoolsSchools

We all know that Hong Kong schools are super competitive – even expectant mamas feel the pressure to get their bumps on a waiting list! With so many different options to choose from it can all be a bit daunting… and if you’re new in town, even more so! Moving to a brand new country where you might not speak the main language is always a challenge, particularly when you’ve got little ones to think about too. That’s why we had to share this helpful coffee morning from Jones Lang LaSalle which will get you up to speed on relocation and international schooling in Hong Kong.

Regional Director Anne-Marie Sage, and National Director (and Sassy Mama expert contributor!) Gill Keefe will discuss the different options for international schooling and relocation in Hong Kong. With expertise in dealing with expatriates and their needs, relocation experience, and in-depth knowledge of international schools, Anne-Marie and Gill are sure to give you a comprehensive overview, as well as some very useful tips!

Not only will you get your important questions answered over a nice strong coffee (or tea, or juice… there’s a whole selection!), but you’ll also come away with free No. 7 Protect & Perfect Serum samples from much-loved skincare experts, Boots! Better yet is the fact that you can actually bring your tiny tots along – the lovely folk at Safari Kid will be laying on a balloon-maker, and fabulous children’s TV presenter turned storyteller Ana Bennett from The Story Stage will keep them entertained while you concentrate on the matter at hand! You’ll also get the chance to direct any questions you might have about Safari Kid’s pre-school programmes to their representatives, and don’t forget that helpers are more than welcome to come along too. We can’t wait for the delicious breakfast canapés they’ve got planned (and we hear there will be a lucky draw on the day too!).

So don’t fret mama! If you, a friend or a family member are new to this fabulous city, this is a little bit of additional help to get you settled; even if you’re not new to the ‘Kong, it’s always useful to have the latest schooling advice! Don’t miss this opportunity to learn more, and if you haven’t heard of Sugar then don’t worry – it’s really easy to get to, with tons of car parking spaces available at Cityplaza.

See you there, mama!
