Stick Man is Heading to Hong Kong

The magical tale of Stick Man is coming to life on stage in Hong Kong this October – and more performances have been added!

The Gruffalo made a recent appearance in our house – a ‘travel surprise’ for J that Hubby brought home from London.  I’ll be honest and say that we’d never heard of this charming British import before – why would we, I suppose….we’re new parents after all.   Hubby is making it a point to bring home classic “foreign” books from his various business trips, and this one is the latest addition to J’s little library.  Let me tell you, I’m now a devoted fan of the dynamic duo behind this adventurous tale – author Julia Donaldson and illustrator Axel Scheffler.

Three actors and a one-man band come together to tell the story of Stick Man – who, as you may already know, lives in the family tree, with his Stick Lady Love and their stick children three….

Tickets are now on sale and additional performances have been added to the schedule, which runs October 6-10 at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts Drama Theatre.  Tickets are still available for all dates except the 11am show on Saturday Oct 9th.  (An insider tip for you:  the latest intel is that you’d better hurry if you want seats at the 2pm show on Saturday as tickets are quite limited.)
